I Guess Andrew Sullivan Doesn’t Like VP Cheney

I’m sure the feeling is mutual.

That rascally Andrew Sullivan is at it again, this time attacking VP Cheney’s remarks during an interview by Chris Wallace, FOX News.

Wallace ask:

This is at the core of the controversies that I want to get to with you in a moment. If the president during war decides to do something to protect the country, is it legal?

Cheney responded:

General proposition, I’d say yes. You need to be more specific than that. I mean — but clearly, when you take the oath of office on January 20th of 2001, as we did, you take the oath to support and defend and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Sullivan concludes:

The irony seems lost in him. How can the suspension of all laws into the power of the executive branch in wartime be seen as a defense or protection of the Constitution? Perhaps for a brief amount of time in a dire emergency, after which there would be a thorough accounting to the Congress and the Courts. But indefinitely? As inherent in the office? And with jurisdiction over the entire United States as well as the world? With “enemy combatants” defined as anyone the president calls an “enemy combatant” and no distinction between citizen ad non-citizen? Including the right to torture? Indefinitely?

What Cheney has advanced is that the president has the right to dissolve the constitution permanently. That he has the right to commit war crimes with impunity. That there is no legal authority to which he is ever required to pay deference in a war that is his and his alone to declare and end. Now when you consider that, in Cheney’s view, these war-powers are limitless, and that war is declared not by the Congress but by the president, and can be defined against a broad, amorphous enemy such as “terrorism”, and never end, you begin to see what a dangerous man he is, and how much danger we have all been in since he seized control of the government seven years ago.

Obviously Sullivan has the common affliction of leftist that confuses them into thinking that our enemy (Islamic animals) wear uniforms and follow some set of international laws of warfare.  For the life of me I don’t understand how they fail to understand that they don’t and these Islamic beast are just that, sub-human animals worthy of nothing but a pork coated round to the head .

Also, the loose usage of the term “torture” by appeasement minded liberals is just plain silly.  Having read about and witnessed what America calls torture and what Islamic animals call torture, they are as different as night and day.  If we were to hold a “torture contest” America would be most likely be dead last in the cruelty rankings.  Sleep deprivation, being subjected to loud rock music and some water in the face is not “torture” in a cruel sense like the animals who gleefully place a pistol in the mouth of prisoners and play Russian roulette or pulling out finger nails with pliers and its not slowly hacking off a head with a dull banana knife.  See the difference?

Mr. Sullivan declares VP Cheney a dangerous man and claims that America has been exposed to more danger since Bush and Cheney have been in office.  The fact that we haven’t suffered another attack since 9/11 should cause anyone reading that statement to scratch their head and say, “what’s that idiot talking about?”

The hatred for Bush and Cheney is blind by the left, and in all honesty, the hatred of Obama, Pelosi and the rest of the traitors on the left is just as passionate from the right, although it is based in logic and fact and not emotion and warped ideology.  Liberals just don’t “get it.”

Sullivan finishes with a dose of hypocrisy:

But what we know with real clarity is the following: the vice-president long ago became an enemy to the Constitution and to all it represents. He should have been impeached long ago; and the shamelessness of his exit makes prosecution all the more vital. If we let this would-be dictator do what he has done to the constitution and get away with it, the damage to the American idea is deep and permanent.

I wonder when Sullivan will pen an article chronicling the very real disregard for the Constitution by Obama and his minion?

In his own words Obama shares his thoughts on that flawed document, the United States Constitution:

Let’s not hold our breathes waiting on Sullivan to address what you just heard though…

I salute Bush and Cheney, I didn’t agree with everything they did but compared to the shameful agenda of Obama these men are worthy of our repsect.  Obama is worthy of spit in the eye.

For giggles, here’s a few comments from the article:

Bush is at fault for the collapse of our economy. That’s it. Cheney, the Dick, is a war criminal. Period.

Yeah, those affirmative action loans to dead beat minorities had nothing to do with the housing collapse did it….

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, et. al., should be hanged for Treason and Crimes Against Humanity. They make Hitler look admirable, at least he had the decency to shoot himself.

So should Obama….. oooohhhh , but we’re not allowed to say that are we….

Dana must be expecting to receive the “Golden Panties” for all her hard work lying to herself and the American people. Maybe a small ranch in Paraguay? A goodbye bonk? A noose?

Dana Perino=cute patriot – Michelle Obama=America hating racist …… now who should get the noose?

“gross negligence” about says it all for ALL the bush crime family. He’s never done a thing right in his life so why start now when he’s ready to retire. So many things to screw up, so little time but he managed to do it. WORST PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY
Dana looked better with a black eye than I thought she would. She needs to get both eyes blackened. What a twit with a little whiney voice. YUCK

So you see folks, these sentiments are a prime example of why and how liberals are taking over and destroying our republic.  Their hatred is relentless, team work and compromise is not in their vocabulary.  That’s one of the reasons McCain lost, because he thought he could work with these traitors.

There is no “working” with these people.  They are the enemy within.  They must be exposed and destroyed.  By violence eventually.  It’s us or them, America is that divided and I long for the first shot to be fired.

You can play nice with your kids, liberals are only worthy of the gallows.

What say you?
